ACTIVELY RADICAL TV

Actively Radical TV (ARTV) is a social activist media group in Sydney, Australia. Based on the philosophy that people change the world when they have a better understanding of the events that take place around them, ARTV seeks to:

a) create an alternative space for the broadcast and distribution of alternative news, current affairs and political analysis from a grassroots perspective;

b) play an active role in the building of the social movements.

Since 1991, ARTV members have produced documentaries on social and poltical issues of the day including: Indigenous issues, local community resident issues, workers' rights, environmental issues, civil liberties, racism, international solidarity, anti-war in Iraq & Afganisatan, refugee rights, public education, public health, public transport, housing and many more. ARTV films rallies, demonstrations, workers' picket lines, public meetings and community events. ARTV holds film screenings, produces DVDs and produced weekly TV programs for broadcast on community TV for over 12 years.

ARTV is currently developing an internet TV site.
